Many of the ideas also came from studying how successful SaaS and WordPress products get their users. We\u2019ll look at freemium, niche SEO, communities, word of mouth, social media, founder-led marketing, affiliates, partnerships, and other ways of getting a product in front of users. We\u2019ll start with something familiar to us: how WordPress products are distributed. Then we\u2019ll see how the same ideas can be used to build a distribution system for a SaaS product.
